Key Account Manager

Job Description

  • Develop, manage, and maintain the portfolio of existing clients in France.
  • Identify and approach new target clients, converting prospects into customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through rigorous project follow-up and a strong presence in the field: visits, client tours, videoconferences, seminars, etc.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and scientific conferences.
  • Develop a commercial action plan and short- and medium-term sales forecasts for your client portfolio.
  • Report in the form of quarterly activity reports, visit reports, and regular analyses of sales and ongoing projects.
  • Update the customer database, projects, and prices on IT tools (Salesforce, LSI, etc.).
  • Prepare the budget and short/medium-term forecasts for each client and supplier.

Profile

  • Scientific university degree (biochemistry, biology, or chemistry) or engineering school (ENSC, EBI, etc.) or specialized training (ISIPCA, etc.). Business schools are accepted (with a technical/scientific background).
  • First experience in selling ingredients for the cosmetic industry is essential.
  • Very good knowledge of the cosmetic market and its various players.
  • Strong commercial sense, seriousness, and a positive attitude.
  • Fluent English or full professional proficiency.
  • Anticipation, adaptability, calmness, autonomy, and punctuality.
  • Good knowledge of IT tools.

Job Conditions

  • Contract: Full-time permanent contract (CDI)
  • Location: Position based in Paris 8
  • Travel: Requires regular travel within the national territory
